Episode 28: New Tools

So at the start of this year I got a whiteboard (and by got I mean dug up from my basement). It’s been a great tool for writing down broad stroke ideas and log-lines for scripts. But there is not enough room on it to outline an entire script. So today, I dug this up:

Now I have a tool to outline whole scripts one at a time. I started with a new Nikita spec that I am now two acts outlined into. I should have the entire thing planned out by tomorrow. I wonder if the experience of writing with a completely outlined script will be better or worse for me since every other script I’ve done thus far has been written page by page with no planning outside the initial log-line.
